2023 Tournament Update

The time is nearing, so we’re here to share a quick tournament update!

Firstly – after the disappointing cancelation of our 2022 event, the Whakatāne Jan Tourney will be returning in January 2023! 

We will still be holding our Drop-off event on Friday evening - 6th Jan 2023, with the main event happening all day Saturday 7th Jan 2023.

Just like last year, all tournament information and referee and team registrations will be on our official website. 

As with previous years – our team entry policy is “first in – first served” once registrations open. However teams are required to meet the entry criteria before their entry is confirmed.

To successfully enter the tournament, teams must complete their team registration online; register their nominated referee; and pay the $450 entry fee. 

Referee registrations are opened, so head over to our website and get this step sorted now!

Team registrations will open 16th September 2023 at 6:00am.
